A beginners guide to rugby union
Rugby. A game played by gentlemen or a game I prefer to describe as a mortal’s clash of the Titans. If you’re new to the game of rugby, you might get a little confused about what’s actually going on. You might, for example, wonder why the game keeps stopping; whether there’s actually any difference between a ‘ruck’ and a ‘maul’; and what the heck a scrum is anyway?! As someone who was – until recently – a rugby novice, I feel your pain. I’ve always enjoyed rugby but, now I understand it, I’ve become one of those slightly annoying people that refer to technical rugby terms in casual conversation. And, once you’ve learnt it, the game is actually a lot simpler than you think.

Meet the faces behind Edgbaston
You’ve been to one of our hospitality experiences. You’ve walked into a beautifully decorated room, had a lovely hostess take you to your seats. You’ve eaten a meal so delicious it makes your mouth water just thinking about it. You might have noticed a few special details that have made you stop and smile. You’ve watched an incredible sporting event and thoroughly enjoyed your day. At some points during the day, you might have stopped to consider how it all works – who comes up with the ideas? How exactly do you bring a hospitality package to life? At Keith Prowse, we’re hugely passionate about giving our guests the best experience possible. In innovating and taking your experience to the next level. And part of that is having an incredible team behind the events. And we want to introduce them to you.

Meet the faces behind Epsom
125,000 people flock to the Epsom Downs each year to witness the greatest Flat race in the world – the Investec Derby Festival. A quintessentially English racing meet steeped in history and drama… and the hats are pretty amazing too! The thunder of hooves, the roars of the crowds – all against a backdrop of the gorgeous Epsom Downs, this is the ultimate experience in Flat racing. But how does it all take place so seamlessly? And what happens during the rest of the year? Who are the faces behind the races? We met with Craig Williamson, Estate Manager; and Dominic Toole, Stable Manager – two of Epsom’s finest. With over 40 years’ experience between them, they’ve seen it all.
