Premier League fixtures published

The Premier League fixtures for 2017-18 have been published, revealing who will be playing where and when in what should be nine months of mouth-watering clashes.
 
Fans seeking corporate hospitality packages and private boxes will be able to see an unprecedented five English teams in the Champions League, with champions Chelsea, plus Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Liverpool qualifying through their league positions. Manchester United finished sixth, but secured their place in Europe's top competition by winning the Europa League last month.
 
While this will mean people watching any of these five sides can see them in the Champions League, the attraction of playing in the competition will help them all to attract top talent from around the globe, making the league more exciting and competitive than ever. 
 
Champions Chelsea will begin their campaign at home to Burnley on the weekend of August 12th-13th, while their big games at Stamford Bridge include derbies with Arsenal on September 16th and Tottenham on March 31st. Other big home games include Manchester City on September 30th, Manchester United on November 4th and Liverpool in the final home game on May 5th. 
 
Tottenham Hotspur fans will have the novelty of watching the side play home games at Wembley while White Hart Lane is transformed into a larger new stadium. Their opening match will be an exciting clash with Chelsea, while the north London derby with Arsenal is scheduled to take place on February 10th and West Ham come across London on December 30th. They will also host Liverpool on October 21st, Manchester United on January 31st and Manchester City on April 14th. 
 
Manchester United's first league game is at home to West Ham on August 12th and fans can pencil in a derby against City on December 9th. Liverpool will visit on March 10th, while Chelsea will be at Old Trafford on February 24th. Tottenham's visit will be on October 28th and Arsenal are the penultimate visitors on April 28th. Optimists noting Joe Mourinho's penchant for winning the league in his second season might note the club has twice clinched the title against the Gunners.
 
Rivals City will have their own ideas about that, however. They host United on April 7th, with other big home games seeing the visits of Liverpool on September 9th, Arsenal on November 4th, Tottenham on December 16th and Chelsea on March 3rd. 
 
Liverpool's quest for a first league title in 28 years will see them hosting Arsenal on August 26th, Manchester United on October 14th, Chelsea on November 25th, Manchester City on January 13th and Tottenham on February 3rd. Neighbours Everton visit Anfield on December 9th.
 
Arsenal may not have Champions League football to look forward to this season, but fans of the FA Cup winners will still have some big games to enjoy at the Emirates Stadium. They will host Manchester United on December 2nd, with the north London derby against Tottenham on December 18th. They then play at home against Liverpool on December 23rd, Chelsea on January 1st and Manchester City on February 24th. 
 
These are just some of the exciting fixtures in store this season, with Huddersfield and Brighton playing top-flight football for the first time in decades. Brighton start in exciting fashion with the visit of Manchester City, while Huddersfield begin with a trip to Crystal Palace followed by an opening home game against fellow promoted side Newcastle United.
