The view from our lens: The Aegon Championships 2016

March 28, 2017

Ahead of the Aegon Championships 2017, we take a look at last year's Championships and pick out some of our highlights.

Despite a truly British summer, the Aegon Championships last year couldn’t have been more exciting! We saw our first all-British Queen’s Club quarter-final in the Open era and the first last-eight encounter between two Brits on the ATP Tour since Tim Henman defeated Greg Rusedski in Adelaide in 2002.

Records were also broken, with Andy Murray becoming the first person to raise the esteemed trophy for the fifth time.

But that wasn’t the only first that took place last year. We were lucky enough to fly a drone over the Queen’s Club and caught some incredible shots of the grounds.

And what better way to watch the tennis than with one of our hospitality experiences. Guests witnessed the nail-biting drama with official Centre Court premium tickets whilst enjoying all the delights luxury hospitality brings. Don’t believe us? Believe our guest’s pictures.

Guests in the Roof Garden enjoyed the beautiful outdoor terrace whilst being serenaded with live music, a carvery, and talks from Leon Smith, Britain’s winning Davis Cup captain. Overlooking the practice courts, Roof Garden was an experience unlike any other.

The Club Lounge, an exclusive first-floor facility with its own private roof garden overlooking the practice courts, offered guests a luxury five-course fine dining experience with complimentary refreshments including premium Champagne and spirits.

Guests at Love Fifteen enjoyed a rustic, informal dining experience with fifteen-inspired English style tapas and afternoon tea.

With the best seats in the house to watch world-class men's tennis in action and luxury hospitality to boot, there’s not much more you could want from the Aegon Championships!
